TONAR ice spare blades

Special sharpening of the cutting edge of the knife ensures fast drilling of ice with minimal physical force.
The blades are made of high carbon alloy steel 65G. After hardening, their hardness is 57-62 HRC, which allows the blades to be sharpened repeatedly without degrading their original properties.

TONAR carried out a serious technological modernization of the production of ice drill blades:
- high-tech Italian grinding equipment of the MVM "La 500" brand was acquired;
- an additional operation of sharpening ("fine-tuning") the blade of all knives was introduced: now the blade is perfectly sharp and stays sharp much longer;
- the blade of the knives is treated with a special protective composition intended for the defense industry.
